Upcoming programs:

On Saturday, August 27 @ 9-3pm Baby Sitting Certification Course $70 This class is designed for 11-16 yr. old boys and girls with an interest in babysitting. The course covers infant & child CPR, obstructed airway procedures, and rescue breathing. Attendees will also be reviewing topics such as telephone calls, visitors, water hazards, diapering, feedings, “before the parents leave”, and basic first aid. mtgMagic: The Gathering, every Tuesday night from 7:30PM to 9:30PM in Room 4 upstairs.  We play a variety of MtG formats, including casual, archenemy, cube draft, EDH/commander, multiplayer, planechase, and two-headed giant.  Adults and teens welcome.  We also teach new players! Teen Summer Reading.  Join the Kinnelon Library’s Summer reading program! Come in to the Library, sign up, and receive your goody bag and reading log.Our kick-off party will be on Friday June 24 at pm. We will be screening Star Wars: The Force Awakens!  Pizza and refreshments will be served.  Each week, we will have a different activity and prizes. This program is for library patrons who are in grades 6-12. All our Summer Reading events start at 3:00 Fridays. The events are: Star Wars Pizza Party-June 24, Trivia Contest-July 1, Scavenger hunt-July 8, Video game Tournament-July 15, Bracelet Crafting-July 22, and End of Summer Reading Ice Cream party and Prize Giveaway-July 29. Teen Advisory Board-TAB-Want to boss around some librarians? Join the teen advisory board. You will be able to provide input into on book, DVD, and the CD collection, help rethink the teen section, brainstorm, plan, and prepare teen programs, and more.
