Print and Paint Pokemon on Wednesday, October 19 at 4:30pm – The Kinnelon Library is the proud owner of a 3D printer! Come in and learn how to print and prepare 3D prints Pick your favorite from a selection of pokemon models: Pikachu, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Mudkip, Jolton, Flareon, Vaporeon, Umbreon, Espeon, Glaceon, and Leafeon. Sand away any imperfections, prime and paint! Tarot Card Reading on Saturday, October 29 at 12:30pm – Want to see what your future holds? Tarot cards or even your own hands can give you the answers you seek! Let us gaze into our crystal ball and read your personalized fate in the cards! While you are waiting for a reading, learn to read your palms and find your answers on your own! Hypnotist/Mentalist on Thursday, October 27 at 7:00pm-Mark Zacharia: Out of His Mind … And into Yours” is a comedy hypnosis/mentalism program you will never forget. Come join Mark Zacharia here in a program that will amaze and amuse with a show that  is as much fun for the audience as it is the volunteers. This is good,     clean fun in a way you’ve never experienced before. Audience members are invited to participate in this one-of-a-kind performance. Scary Movie Saturdays Every Saturday in October we will be showing Halloween movies! Movies will be shown in the Teen Section from 1:30 to 4:00 pm. No sign-up is required, just drop in! Movies will be rated no higher than PG-13 but parents are encouraged to use discretion with younger teens. Movie Schedule: 10/1 – Young Frankenstein, 10/8 – Corpse Bride, 10/15 – The Village, 10/22 – The Others, 10/29 – Hocus Pocus.

Magic the Gathering

Zendala on Saturday, November 12 at 2 pm-Mimi Topping returns to the Kinnelon library, this time with a Zendala workshop. A Zendala is similar to Zentangle except it is in the round. It is an easy-to-learn relaxing way to create beautiful artwork. ANYONE can do it! Cost is $5 for your kit. Teen Book Club date TBA – Kinnelon Library wants to start its very own Teen Book Club! You would not need to read any specific titles. Instead, the club would meet each month and members would discuss books they have recently read and enjoyed (or disliked) and why. Join us for recommendations, good conversation and, of course, snacks!

Teens 16 and up may also register for most adult programs on our adult registration page.

Magic: The Gathering, every Tuesday night from 7:30PM to 9:30PM in Room 4 upstairs.  We play a variety of MtG formats, including casual, archenemy, cube draft, EDH/commander, multiplayer, planechase, and two-headed giant.  Adults and teens welcome.  We also teach new players! Teen Advisory Board-TAB-Want to boss around some librarians? Join the teen advisory board. You will be able to provide input into on book, DVD, and the CD collection, help rethink the teen section, brainstorm, plan, and prepare teen programs, and more.
