Teen Programs

The mission of the Teen Department is to provide the resources and assistance necessary to foster a life long love of reading and learning.  In addition, the Teen Department, in cooperation with the Kinnelon School District provides materials and support to assist in school-based learning assignments.

Upcoming programs:

Babysitter Certification Course.  Saturday, Nov.14th  9am-3pm  $70. This class is designed for 11-16 yr. old boys and girls with an interest in babysitting. The course covers infant & child CPR, obstructed airway procedures, and rescue breathing. Attendees will also be reviewing topics such as telephone calls, visitors, water hazards, diapering, feedings, “before the parents leave”, and basic first aid. Participants receive a Saint Clare’s Training Center Course Completion Certificate. Please bring a bag lunch. Check must be made out to St. Claire’s Training Center. Please pay in advance to assure your place in class. Class is limited to 18 so register soon.

Crafternoons Thursdays 3-5pm Drop in after school (6th grade and up). Every week we will make a different craft. It can be anything from an Instagram magnet to a decorated cupcake. Supplies are limited so first come first served!
