HOW DO I GET A LIBRARY CARD?
Come join the Library and get your very own card!
Your own library card allows you to use the entire library, its collections and programs.
-
A Kinnelon Public Library card is free if you live in Kinnelon.
- To get a library card, you go to the library and fill out an application. You will need to print your name and know your address. A parent or guardian needs to help you fill out the application.
- You can get a library card the same day if your parent or guardian is with you and shows identification with your address.
- When you get your library card, sign your name on the application form AND sign the card.
- DO NOT LOAN YOUR CARD TO YOUR FRIENDS to check out books. They can sign up for their own cards.
- You can use your library card to check out books, magazines, compact discs for 21 days. Movies for either 7 days or 14 days.
- When you finish reading your books, bring them back and check out more. If you bring your books back after the due date, then you will need to pay a fine of 10 cents per day for books and 2 dollars per day for movies.
