Where do I find a book about the history of the SHOE? Have you had any of these questions? Stop by the Children's Desk and ask for a tour. This is an excellent program for boy scouts, girl scouts, kids who want to earn a badge, kids who read, kids who don't read, caregivers of all ages...

Thursday, May 22 4:00pm-5:00pm/ 3rd-5th grade

Students will learn to identify various species of trees as

they compare leaves, count rings, and discover the vital

role that trees play in the cycle of life.

3. Wildlife: What It Takes To Survive

Thursday, June 26 2:00-3:0pm/ 1st-3rd grade

From the ocean to the jungle and from the savanna to the treetops, this program gives students insights into the diverse habitats and lifestyles of the animal kingdom. Special emphasis is given to threatened and endangered species and the impact of human choices on our wildlife neighbors. Students will also handle skulls, skins, furs, and feathers as they discuss the different ways animal bodies are adapted to their particular needs.
