 Living as a Woman in a Muslim World on Thursday, February 23 at 7:00 pm- Dr. Gillian Hettinger gives a personal account, from a woman’s perspective, of life in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In the early 90’s her husband took a job in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She took a leave from her teaching position and joined him there. The Way to Santiago on Thursday, March 9 at 7:00 PM the Kinnelon Library presents Kinnelon resident Joe Santiso, who completed an arduous 487.5 mile pilgrimage of thanksgiving and atonement to the Cathedral of Santiago   de Compostela in northern Spain. Traveling on foot, his journey began on September 17 from St. Jean Pied de Port and ended at Santiago de Compostela on October 19.  Joe will present his 32 day journey, what he experienced, and how his pilgrimage effected his life.  Krafty in Kinnelon Did you know Kinnelon Library has a “Knitting and Crocheting” group? We meet on the second and the last Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm upstairs in the meeting rooms. We welcome “needlers” of any level! Can’t knit or crochet? We will help.  Are you an expert? We will ask you for advice! We have a great time chatting while we create. Come up and see what we are all about! If you are a beginner knitter please bring a size 8 pair of needles and worsted weight #4 yarn in a light color.
