Twilight Trivia

Book News & Fun!

Do you love Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" books? Do you think you're a "Twilight" expert? Even if you're just a newbie, why not give our Twilight Trivia Game a try? Click here or on the image to the left to play Round 1. The game is set up just like a regular Jeopardy! board. Click the dollar amount and use the forward arrow key to reveal the question and then the answer on each individual screen. When you're done with each question, make sure you use the "Home" link in the lower right corner of each individual question screen to return directly to the main board. When you're ready for Round 2, please click here. The same directions apply. Have fun Twilight fans!

The Cullens Revealed!

PS - Did you know the "Twilight" Movie began filming in February?! Those are the Cullens pictured on the right, including "Harry Potter" actor Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen. Click here to check out the Internet Movie Database entry for the film. You should also be sure to visit Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Movie page, which has lots of updates and photos. Don't forget, Stephenie's adult-oriented sci fi / romance novel "The Host" comes out in May, and "Breaking Dawn" has an official release date of midnight on August 2nd.

Graphics Galore!

Next time you're in the Library, please take a look at our revamped Manga Collection. Although we've weeded out some series in which we only had one or two books, we've made room for lots of new manga. We now have complete sets of such series as "Bleach," "Fruits Basket," "Alice 19th," and "School Rumble." Plus, we've added some new manga novels, including "Chibi Vampire" and "The Twelve Kingdoms." We've also got tons of regular graphic novels, including titles like "Shazam! The Monster Society of Evil," "Mouse Guard: Fall 1152," "Buffy Season Eight: The Long Way Home," and "Heroes: Volume One." Plus, did you know there are now graphic novel versions of such popular teen books as "Alex Rider: Point Blank," "Redwall," "Vampire Kisses," and "Artemis Fowl?" Well now you do! Happy reading!

Brisingr Cover!

Big news on the "Inheritance Trilogy" front! According to the Shur'tugal website, the fantasy saga that began with "Eragon" will no longer be a trilogy! That's right. Author Christopher Paolini recently announced that he has way too much story left to squeeze it all into one final book. So, instead of a trilogy, we'll get four books in the series, which is now renamed "The Inheritance Cycle." The much-anticipated third novel will be entitled "Brisingr." Apparently, as you fans surely know, that's the first ancient language word learned by Eragon. "Brisingr" goes on sale at midnight on September 20th. Until then, you can at least get a sneak peek at the cover. Enjoy!
